Elmin Aliyev became the champion in Hungary

An international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament was held in Budapest in memory of Hungary’s renowned wrestling coach Imre Baracsi.
Several members of the national team in the U20 age group participated in the traditional competition. Under the guidance of coach Emin Ahmadov, Kamran Rajabli (72 kg), Javad Mammadov (77 kg), Elmin Aliyev (82 kg), and Mezaim Mardanov (130 kg) competed in the memorial tournament. Elmin Aliyev, a bronze medalist at the U17 European Championship, defeated all his opponents and climbed to the top of the podium.
Immediately after the competition, our wrestlers headed to the city of Tata, Hungary. From April 27 to May 2, they joined a training camp held in this city with the participation of several teams.
