Azerbaijani Referees Achieve Higher International Rankings

The United World Wrestling (UWW) has updated its list of internationally ranked referees.

Based on their performance in competitions and exams last year, three Azerbaijani wrestling referees have been promoted to a higher category. Eldar Mammadov and Kamran Bakhishov advanced from Category III to Category II, while Gadim Gurbanov, previously a national-level referee, attained international referee status and was promoted to Category III.

Currently, Azerbaijan has 25 internationally ranked wrestling referees.
