2 bronze medals on the last day of the World Championship

The U-20 World Wrestling Championship in Pontevedra, Spain, has concluded.
On the final day of the championship, two of our freestyle wrestlers stepped onto the podium.
Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg) faced Russian Tamir Eshinimayev in the bronze medal match. With points scored in the final moments, our compatriot won 4:1, securing third place in the world.
Anar Jafarli (92 kg) won his consolation match by fall against India’s Amit Singh. In the decisive match, he faced American Connor Mirasola, defeating him 6:2 to claim the bronze medal.
Thus, our freestyle wrestling team finished the World Championship with 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. With a total of 72 points, our team ranked as the 5th strongest in the world.
It is worth noting that yesterday, Khetag Karsanov (97 kg) won the silver medal.
