AGF officials visited Gabala

One of the priority issues for the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AGF) is improving infrastructure in the regions.

To this end, the “Gabala” Sports Club, which has become one of the important clubs in national wrestling in recent years, has been provided with necessary equipment by the federation.

Today, the Chairman of the AGF Referees Committee, Garib Aliyev, and Regional Coordinator, Elfaq Safarov, traveled to the city of Gabala. The federation officials visited the wrestling section of the club, familiarized themselves with the conditions, met with the coaches, wished them success in their future activities, and shared their recommendations with the athletes.

It should be noted that more than 70 young wrestlers train under the guidance of coach-teachers Farid Mustafayev (freestyle wrestling) and Ruhin Mikayilov (Greco-Roman wrestling) at the “Gabala” Sports Club.
